The Marquand Zion Tigers will begin play in the Class 1, District 2 Basketball Tournament at Richland (Essex) on Tuesday, February 24th at 6:00 P.M.
Marquand is the #6 seed in the tournament.
The opening round opponent is Leopold, the #3 seed. Leopold beat Marquand earlier this year in a game at Leopold, but the Tigers want revenge. Marquand closed the regular season at 8-12, while Leopold comes in at 16-9.
The winner of Tuesday's game will face the winner of #2 Bell City and #7 St Paul (Farmington).
ALL GAMES will be at Richland High School (Essex), State Highway 114, Essex, Mo. TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE GATE, according to MSHSAA. 24
