2025

The annual Pioneer Days events will be held Friday, September 26th, through Sunday, September 28th, in Historic Marquand Zion Park. Events will be held all weekend long, with the biggest days of events to be held on Saturday.

This year the annual celebration will start Friday evening, September 26th, with a Pot Luck dinner sponsored by Big Creek Baptist Church. Meat will be provided, so bring your own sides for a great time of community fellowship with Live Music as well.

On Saturday, many of the larger events will take place with the Fireman's Breakfast at the Firehouse at 7:00 A.M., the Car & Motorcycle Show at 10:00, and Craft and Food Vendors throughout the day. Many Marquand Zion Clubs and classes will have booths available to raise money for class projects, such as the Senior Trip! Grishman Spur performs from 10-1, followed by Blackbird Strut Band from 1-4.

Sunday ends the festival with Church in the Park at 10:00 A.M. All denominations are welcome, and afterward, a good old-fashioned Dinner on the Grounds will take place. Bring your own covered dish and lawn chair and stay a while.
