The Mississippi Valley Conference announced their All-Conference teams for 2023-24 this week, and two Marquand Athletes were part of that team. Junior Braydan Homan and Freshman, Hayden Wolfe were named as part of the 12-member all-conference basketball team.
Head Coach Charlie Doublin and Marquand Athletic Director, Bryant Steffens announced the selections on Wednesday.
Homan and Wolfe helped lead the Marquand-Zion Tigers team to a 7-win season in the MVC. A season that could have reached double-digit wins if not for weather and game cancellations. The highlight of the year came with a third-place finish in the MVC Conference tournament at Meadow Heights.
This is the second all-conference selection for the Homan family in the past two years. Homan's brother, Aidan Homan was an all-conference selection in 2022-23. Braydan Homan also plays baseball with Fredericktown High School in a new MSHSAA agreement between the two schools.
