For Veterans Day this year, the JH and HS English Department organized activities for students to honor those that currently serve, have served in the past, and will serve in the future. Middle School students created flag banners that included Acrostic Poems using the word Veteran and they watched the Veteran's Day parade. They also did some informational reading on Veteran's Day. All students and staff were invited by Mrs. Lewis to place their handprints on a flag in the High School lobby.
